I have been reading some other threads here and it seems most of you agree on 6 weeks before you see results.

Really!? I used to body build back when I was oh, so very young and now 6 weeks just seems forever. I'm afraid I have sucome to the good old American thought process of "I want it NOW!" I have been working on this process for 3 years and have come a very long way. I am very proud of that. 3 years ago I could barly walk with 2 canes and wore a sz 22. Now I'm in a 12 and I walk 3.5 miles 3-4 times a week and do various other exercises. But I have been on a plateau for quite awhile now and I'm feeling very frustrated that I'm not getting anywhere which is what brought me here. So I guess if you are going to kick me in the butt and say "Yes, you have to do your stuff and wait 6 weeks to see some results." than so be it. But I don't have to like it!

So since Lean Muscle Mass requires more calories how do I build that while still loosing fat? I currently take in average of 1500 calories(50% carbs, 40% protein and 10% fat) and expend average of about 3000 calories a day.

If you expend 3000 cals per day and take in 1500 you won't lose weight or at least fat. A pound is about 3400 calories. You want to lose about 2 lbs per week. No more. You want a caloric deficit of about 5 hundred to 1 thousand a day. That would be 200 to 2500 calories per day. You can't hurry love or weight loss.

Charlie I have given up on the love thing. So I guess I have to be patient and eat more.

6-8 WEEKS is a realistic goal 2 see good results from most weight loss and fitness programs. Actually 6-8 weeks is not very long, 6 months is not very long also.
4-6 lbs a month is a realistic goal for weight loss.
