Hello everyone! I am new here, trying to lose excess fat. So far I have enjoyed looking around and I am excited to start my training program. I am concerned however about the recommended calorie intake. It seems to be very high, nearly triple what I am use to on a typical weight loss regimen. Is there a particular reason for this? Or did I perhaps make a mistake somewhere? Thanks

The calories almost always seem high to new folk. Lifting builds muscle and your body needs the fuel. Try the suggestions for a few weeks and you may need to adjust the calories later. Try not to pay too much attention to the scale. The tape measure is going to be the most accurate measure of your progress.
What are some good foods that will increase cal intake but still get the proper nutrients? I personally am finding it hard to eat that much. a Normal day for me is about 1800 cal.
Denovas - I hear you - I think Charlie has answered this same question for me several times now!
