Hey guys!! Well, I have been using a pilates tape at least 3 times a week usually 5 times a week and love it. I also have been trying to up my caloric intake as I was told to do by many of you(before I was consuming around 900 a day, now am averaging 1200) Was just wondering why if I am doing the right things, my clothes are getting tighter, and it appears that I have gained about 5 lbs. Any suggestions??

I am just guessing, but if you have been starving your body and recently increased your calories to try to correct that, it is probably temporary. Keep working out and after a few weeks it should balance out. Also if you are putting on muscle that will make your weight go up slightly. How often are you weighing yourself? Also make sure you are not doing your weigh and measure during PMS times. That right there puts 5 lbs on me and makes my clothes tighter. Even though it is temporary it is discouraging every month to feel that way. Are you doing any cardio activities?

I have just been using the Pilates, but as the weather gets better was planning on adding in some walking. I don't have a scale, so not weighing myself, just going by my clothes really.
