Does anyone have any good strength exercises for improving balance. Basically, I have terrible balance (somewhat flat-footed), as I can do an angled bench press of about 320 but can only squat about 50. I can't even try dumbell lunges since I sway to one side or the other dangerously. Any help would be appreciated.

I don't believe being flat footed who cause trouble in balancing. Although, I could be wrong. Have you tried having a focal point?

Try yoga and pilates

whatup, are you saying you bench press 320? Your post is a little confusing. If your balance problem is that bad you need to see a doctor. If you are saying you are klutzy like many of us, get an experienced person to show you how to use the machines until you become accustomed to the different movements.

Welcome to FT and good luck with your goals.
