Recently, I have been reading Max OT with a passion. I have participated in this program for about six weeks now, and can say it works quite nicely. However, while going over it again..I notice they put in two different types of scheduels. For one, You're supposed to train one muscle group once a week. For the other, it has you doing:

Monday - chest tricep
Tuesday - Bicep Back
Wednesday - Legs
Thursday - Rest
Friday - chest tricep
(sat and sunday off)
Monday - Bicep Back
Tuesday - Legs
Wednesday - Rest
Thursday - chest tricep
Friday - bicep back

(etc..always rest after legs..)

To me..after reading about how much you muscle needs to heal; this seems like an overkill. However, in the back of my head i keep thinking that this overkill might be much better of a workout than a single muscle group a week.

Does anyone have any experience with either of these programs that might be able to tell me the pros and cons of each method?

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

You should probably send that question to Paul Cribb or Jeff Willet. It is their program.
