Are they ok to eat for breakfast or not? No syrup involved either.

um... just read the nutrition facts on the box and see what they have on them... i'm not too familliar with what they're made off, but i'd assume they're low in protein, so maybe throwing in some egg whites or peanut butter shouldn't be too bad...

Yeah the calories was around like 160 0.5grams of fat and like 6 grams of protein not a whole lot but not very fattening either.

I would be careful and check the box if there the pre-made waffles. I am pretty sure they aren't much different from pastry style dough. Eggo's are mad high in calories, fat and carbs from what I remember.
If your getting the low-fat or whole grain waffles then they are okay, but I would just stick clear of them as a regular breakfast item. Use them as a once in while treat and your fine. Hehe, and don't drench them in butter either :P -------------- - Its never about how much you can lift, or how many reps you do. Its just about doing it, and doing it right. - If your hungry all the time, your not eating enough. And anyways, being hungry sucks. ~Brad~ |

Also check out the sodium and sugar, especially if they are out of a box!-------------- "A will finds a way" Ivan Montreal Canada |

I got some Splenda syrup to put on oatmeal pancakes. I'll be honest, though - it's not too good. LOL

Total has a new cereal. Its called Total Protein. 13g protein per serving and fairly low in fat and carbs. Tastes like crap. Needs fruit or something. Again the problem has to do with the milk. Alot of sugar. I've got to where I eat plain oatmeal mixed with strawberries or blueberries. Didn't like it at first but I'm really getting used to it, especially with cinnamon on it.

agamble; how long does it take for ones body to get use to the oatmeal thing...I like it and all, but have found myself making mad dashes to the bathroom. Been eating it pretty regular for about a week; shouldn't the ole intestinal walls be cleaned out by now...Sorry about the description, but damn!!!!

Im not a big breakfast eater whenever I wake up im not really hungry and if I do eat I end up sick. A quick MRP drink would probably be my best bet. I found these ones at the store it only has like 1 gram of fat and under 100 calories but w/ 10 grams of protein. Mix that w/ something small and I should be set.

fryer I really haven't had that problem. I know what you are talking about, though. I increased my fiber intake over the summer and stayed pretty busy for a week or so. Hang in there. You know what they say, "The key to a happy life is a healthy colon."

My wife works at Wal-mart and that's where she got it. It is pretty new. It's in a red box and is called Total Protein.

The 2nd of February it was "la Chandeleur" in France. It's a day where you'll eat pancakes ("crêpes") and celebrate the sun comming back (from winter).
Of course we had crêpes too (I actually made them with soy milk and protein powder). Hmmm delicious! (o; -------------- - Nina :o) Les Victoires éternelles sont celles du coeur. www.nme-pro.com |
