I am a pitcher and second baseman for baseball. I am 5'4, 120 lbs, and I need some help on figuring out the muscles to work on in order to throw faster, right now I throw 82 mph, and I want to throw about 86-87 mph before my junior yr. I am a sophmore right now, 15 yrs of age. Hopefully someone can help me, I am Pitching for two teams this spring, one for fun, and the other is for high school. I really need to get faster on my speed, because my dreams are to make it in baseball, as a pitcher in the majors, or second base, so hopefully someone can help me out.

i played baseball all through high school.my coach was a pitcher for Ole Miss, we did long tosses about 50 yds or so give or take. dot drills work alot for quickness at 2nd.to strengthen your rotator cup get a 5lb. weight and jus let ur throwin arm dangle with the weight in it n jus do small circles.
