I have a condition called costochronditis which is the inflammation of the cartilage where the ribs attach to the breastbone. Because of this I have had to give up running, lifting heavy with my upper body, and anything that causes me to be out of breath so this could heal. It has been over a year and the pain still occurs after trying to run or lift again. Does anyone have any suggestions for how I can start running and lifting again without chest pains.
