Hi everyone!

I'm a 19yr old female and I'll been lifting for about 2 months now. Recently I had to miss 2 of my lifting workouts because i had to go away and there werent any facilities where I was. I'm a natural worry wart and let things get me down, so I was actually quite depressed about missing my workouts. Please can you let me know whether I need to worry about this or just let it go. I'm really serious and commited to gaining muscle mass. Also (god I'm going on arent I!) do interruptions to my workout schedule every now and then have a dramatic effect on my gains? I'd be really grateful for any advice! Sorry to be such a whinny old fart!

You will be fine a little rest is needed when trainig hard. Good Luck - Mike

Actually a rest period of a few days to week every 3 months or so is a great idea. You really build muscle whil resting so you actually grow while taking abreak! Good LUck

Hey, I don't have any advice for you, but I was wondeing if you could give me some, I am the same age as you and I just started my workout. HOw long did it take you to see results, and how often do you go to the gym?
