So long as the chicken salad isn't drenched in ranch and bacon bits they are good.
The trick is to treat yourself once in awhile. I will occasionally go out for a slice or maybe subway, but I never make a habit out of it. -------------- - Its never about how much you can lift, or how many reps you do. Wendy's chili actually isn't that bad nutritionally. Granted, it's not exactly health food, but I treat myself to it every once and a while and it fits into my eating plan.-------------- OSU Law Rugby....specializing in personal injury and pain & suffering. | |

The thing with low-fat dressings is they can have much higher carbs (sugar carbs to I think) then the normal dressing. Now I am not sure if this is true for all salad dressings, but its still something to look out for if your dieting. -------------- - Its never about how much you can lift, or how many reps you do. I go into Macdonalds at least once a week and order the chicken Mcgrill, no sauce, extra lettuce and tomatoes, and tell them NO BREAD! I only had to tell them once, they think I am their most peculiar customer. Oh ya, I have a bottle of water with it.

If you want the most nutritious thing at McD's order either the #1, #2, or #5. Throw all the food away and eat the box, wrappers, and sack. Not very tasty though. Remember to limit salt and ketchup as this will affect the nutritional content!

FAST FOOD; Do you know where I go when I want fast food?
I go to the grocery store. Yep, I run in and grab fast foods like apples, and plain baggels, and bannanas, pro shakes, energy bars, and maybe a yogurt, or a fitnees drink. Guess what? Grocery stores are everywhere, just like the fast food places. Oh yeah: I forgot to tell you that most grociery stores dont have drive up windows, you will also be requirred to get out of you car and walk, omg. ============ Quoting from goldengloves: Good for you? or ok? I ate the veggie burger at Burger King one time and, I'm not joking, I would have rather ate the sack. Nasty. I may have just got a bad one though.

And my husband wonders why it takes me a year of watching someone eat something different before I'll reluctantly try it <G> |

If I'm in a real Hurry I'll look for a Subway, I'll usually get a 6" Chicken Breast on Whole wheat, with no Cheese, lots of Veggies like lettuce, Green peppers and Tomatoe's. For a Sauce I will sometimes get just a little Mayo, or BBQ Sauce. And top it off with Pepper. |
