I personally have not used it but I know several people who have had success with it.

I am a ww lifetime member. I found ww a sound program and I have had great success with it .However when I started weight training last year I didn't see the results I would have hoped for that is being more toned. When I came here I realised even though I was staying with points my diet was lacking esp in good protein. I also feel the ww program does not cater for serious exercisers and part of my problem I was undereating most times.

I am now following a cleaner diet eating most of what is on BB's grocery list (do a search for it).I am eating more calories no processed foods and I do feel that I am on track ...

hope this helps

What are some thoughts on processed food? My wife and I try to avoid them as much as possible... it's almost impossible with kids these days, but we still try and steer clear of them.

A gal I work with is trying those lean quisine things. I told her they may be low in fat or whatever, but really, the chemicals going into the bod can't be that good for you.

Thoughts?

rule I always herd was if I can't pronounce the chemicals in the food or what not, that it probbaly wasn't good for me in the long run lol so i keep them to a minimal

the weight watchers program is a good starting point. it helps you keep track of what you are eating. i lost 25 pounds on the diet itself. then i lost 30 more on my own by watching what i eat and working out.

I joined (second time) WW on August 26, 2003. I'd already lost some weight (about 30 pounds), but it was the structure of WW that helped me with the rest (grand total=105.) That being said, it's extremely calorie-restrictive. My maintenance total of 28 points works out to 1400 calories, a far cry from the 2000 calorie plan my doctor, trainer and nutirionist ordered me to follow. The new FlexPoints system is better at achieving personal weight goals since you can eat as much or as little as you need, within your point boundary.

It works...I recommend it to "hard weight-losers"(not calling you losers. lol) If followed, you can lose pesky pounds.
