OK...........I have read on here that in order for you to lose weight that is best if you do your cardio in the morning......and your weights in the evening. So I have been going to they gym in the morning around 4am and I normally do 30-60 mins of exercise. I pick 2 cardio machines and do 30 mins on each of them and mind you it is never the same.....I always switch it up....followed by an ab workout Then after work around 4pm I go with my workouts in hand and do my weights then I do light cardio for 30 mins after that which my time in the gym can last anywhere from 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours (because I am slow with the weights...trying to master the form). I sweat buckets in the gym and drink plenty of water while I am there.
Breakfast oatmeal Fruit coffee Snack Trail mix Lunch Salad Piece of pork or chicken (Grilled) vegatable Snack Graham crackers with peanut butter or a can of tuna plain Dinner Small Salad Grilled chicken thigh Because I am trying to lose weight I have made lunch my biggest meal and tried to eat less at night so it wont turn to fat........but last night after I ate I still felt as if I was starving but didnt eat anything.......I am trying to eat more protein and less carbs. I am frustrated because although parts of my body are friming up (shoulders, arms legs) I am not losing any weight. I AM HUNGRY!!!!! Can someone please help me in this. Because the harder I work out the more hungry I am and isnt this defeating the purpose of me losing weight. -------------- you can lead the horse to the water but you can't make them drink..... ~lynnoakdale |

We added various beans peas, lentyls and legumes to our diets. They are relatively low cal and you can eat until stuffed. A little whole grain brown rice is a heathy filler too. BB1's grocery list for body builders has helped me alot as well. Do a fit buddy search and look at it.
Hope this helps... -------------- Its like herding cats. Charlie | |

Yeah charlie is right do a fit buddy search, but i don't seem to know why you are not losing weight, maybe you are not following the diet too well, it depends a lot on you!!!

There is a difference between losing body weight and body fat. Don't ever judge yourself on the scale, obviously if your "toning up" you are doing something right.
If your hungry then your not eatting enough. If your lifting in the evening are you eatting something after you workout? Thats when your body needs protien the most. Try throwing a can of tuna or whey shake post-workout. Starving yourself will not make you lose any good weight. -------------- - Its never about how much you can lift, or how many reps you do. Its just about doing it, and doing it right. - If your hungry all the time, your not eating enough. And anyways, being hungry sucks. ~Brad~ |

thanks so much.............I know these questions may seems a little redundant but if I dont ask then I dont know.
You guys are great!!!! Yes I normally eat a grilled piece of meat for protein after I work out....that is my dinner with a small salad. -------------- you can lead the horse to the water but you can't make them drink..... ~lynnoakdale |

thing about that you need a protein shake after work out, because that chicken breast will take a long time to digest your muscles need nurichment(can't spell) now! So drink a light protein shake they have few carbs high in preotein and at abotu 200 calories a piece.depending if you put a lil milk with it or not, for break fast add an egg or two with your breackfast that early in the morning you need some protein because you have "fasted " for about 8 hours with out food. and if your trying to "lose weight" you might wanna cut out the peanut butter and gram crackers......very high in caloires and quite a few carbs........eat a cut up chicken or ham( the packaged kind lean) with half a slice of wheat bread stacked high with meat with a tomato and some lettice if you like.................eat pleanty of fober( green vegies, maybe a few beans) fiber adds bulk to your stomach and makes you fuller than you really are, plus it helps fluch stuff out as well.-------------- ---andrew.......adversity causes some to break, but others to break records! TRY TO MAKE YOUR BRAKEFAST YOUR BIGEST MEAL AND WITH THE MOST CARBS, WHAT YOU EAT IN THE MORNING WILL GIVE YOU THE ENERGY FOR MOST OF THE DAY. ALSO YOU NEED TO GET A NUTRITION PROGRAM ACORDING TO YOUR WEIGHT, THAT WILL HELP YOU CHOOSE THE TIPE OF FOODS THAT ARE BEST FOR YOU.
