I have been reading up alot about NO2 and i have been trying to decide whether to take it or not. I know its a bit pricey, but my major concern was if you stop taking the NO2 then do you loose the gains you put on. I know naturally you'll loose the pump but i was wondering if you loose the strength and mass you also put on. My main interest is putting on strength. Anybody got any advice?

Yeah, drop the 2 off the end of the product, and this will tell you whether to buy it or not.

I've been reading up on this too, and although the only control-studied proven benefits for gaining mass and strength were creatine and HMB, I think NO2 looks promising. I take it for the pump and the *gulp* possibility that it can help you hang onto gains, even after you stop working out (injury, apathy, whatever).
N02 got a nice write-up recently in Flex, Men's Health, and Muscle & Fitness, for varying reasons/opinions, but it really does look promising. I think alot of it might come down to how you take it, method of absorbtion, and contraindications, but wtf do I know. I'm just reading.

I got a trial pack of IDS NP2 bundled with something. This is an NO2 supplement: mostly L-Argninine alpha-Ketoglutarate with some tribulus and other herbs blended in. It only came with enough for 5 days (30 tablets, taken in 3s, twice per day) so I thought I would try it even though I didn't expect any real results in 5 days. Free is free.
I really didn't notice anything the first day but by day 3 I definately noticed I was more pumped at the gym (i.e. increased blood flow). Unfortunately I also had a splitting headache that kept me from doing any serious lifting. I was drinking tons of water as always, so I doubt it was dehydration. I thought maybe I needed more sleep so I took a day off.
The next day soon after taking the NP2 morning dose that headache hit me again like a ton of bricks.
Needless to say I stopped taking the stuff. I guess it ain't for me.
