I've heard so many opinions in different articles about how long to take creatine and how long to stay off. I just need a good professional opinion about how long i should stay off. I've been on for about a month now. Thanks a lot

No more than 4-6 on, then 1-2 off.

The more and more acceptible way to "reload" has become not to get off of it at all, just every 6 weeks or so reload with 20 gr. per day. There are no adverse effects ever reported from continued creatine usage...don't forget it is not a hormone or anything like that, it is something our bodies produce naturally anyway. There have been hundreds of studies done on creatine that all show that it is a safe supplement. If you choose not to do this method, then a 1-2 week off period is good as Robert says to make certain all creatine stores are depleted. Then reload.
