shaving vs waxing

I have a 12 year old daughter at home that wants to start shaving... All the girls in her class already do. But i am not sure if i should let her wax or shave. What would you recomend?

Have her grow her leg hair out, so that when shes older you wont have to worry about boys hitting on her constantly. J/K Uhm...id suggest shaving. That always seems the best way to start....just make sure you give her the pointers like not to push down too hard etc etc etc.

Teresa, I also have a 12 year old daughter and I let her shave her legs. She plays on two basketball teams and all the other girls shave their legs. I think 12 is old enough to let them start shaving. As for waxing - ouch!!!!!
