Does anyone know of a good substitute for the vertical bench crunches? I do not have access to a machine that will allow me to do this exercise. The best one I came up with to do in place of this would be the seated leg tuck. Anyone have any suggestions? I am on my 5th week of the ab program and they changed my leg raises to these vertical bench crunches... I'm excited about the change in exercise but cannot perform these as I do not have the proper equipment.
Thanks much!

Could you use weight for tucks, crunches, leglifts etc.
For crunches you hold a weight on your chest. For tucks and leglifts you clamp your feet to a dumbell . Thes movements will bring out the 6 pac.

Charlie, last night I did the tucks and OMG did it burn!! I was spoiled with the seated twists. Tucks are the way to go if anyone wants to feel it burn! After I get better I'm going to add my ankle weights. :o)

ooo... I have a problem though. When I was doing the seated twists it was with weights. Well, now that I'm doing twisting crunches it's without weights... will this affect the way the database views my progress?
Also, it says to do 15 twisting crunches, I do 15 on each side so when I'm finished I did 15 reps * 2 sides * 3 sets... Did I understand that correctly or am I doing double?
