I just thought I would say hi. I am new here and want to be able to find out tips on cardiovascular exercise. I have a workout plan but it is lifting and not cardiovascular. I do not have alot of free time and I also have wierd hours due to work. I am a police officer and way out of shape and overweight. I guess at least I have acknowledged it now and trying to work on it. If any one can give me some advice I would be very greatful.

you could try HIIT (high intensity interval training) only takes up 15 minutes of your time. Basically what you do is to jog for 30 seconds then sprint for 30 seconds then jog for 30 seconds then sprint for 30 seconds. for 15 minutes
good luck - Mike

I must not fear.
Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it is gone past me I will turn to see fear's path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain

Hey Doug, I'm a cop too and I know what you mean about weird hours. Speaking of which, I don't have a lot of time right now, but message me and I'll give you a few tips when I get off shift.
