Hi myname is Tyronne J. I found this site a few days ago because I was eager to start on an exercise program to increase the size of my body and have a shaped body. I signed up and will be starting soon. My real question is in the exercise program it says input weight for each set, does it increase as the reps decrease or do you keep the same weight. Also how often do you increase the weight after using the same weight. My final question is do products like hydroxycut help in this program to enhance body definition. All replys are welcomed. Thanks. I hope my program is a success.

Welcome to the site!

I tend to increase the weight as the reps decrease. That being said though, if I find doing those reps with the increased weight will be next to impossible, I'll stay with the same weight. I don't want to sacrifice form for weight... this is of course assuming my form is correct! :)

leanage, hydroxycut helps separate you from your money.

The first couple of sets should be light weight as they are warm up. The last set you should be able to just finish or not quite finish. When you cando complete sets bump the weight up. It takes a little trial and error.

Charlie, I think I may have been doing my sets wrong. I usually pick a weight that I can do, for example, 16,12, 10, and 8 reps. So If I understand you, I shouldn't shouldn't use the same weight for each set?

Start out with light weight to stretch your muscles and then go heavier. Once you can do an average amount of reps with the weight increase it.
