Okay, I follow a pretty solid diet. Its not perfect, but it seems to work. Day in and day out, from breakfast to bed I eat the same thing (except on cheat day). This doesn't bother me in the least.
My roommate is starting to piss me off though. Each time he see's me cook dinner, breakfast or lunch its the same thing.
Roommate: "Man, how do you do that?"
Me: "Do what?"
Roommate: "Eat the same thing, day in and day out"
Me: "I don't know. Its easier this way to keep track of carbs/fats/protien. Its more efficient for me. And its cheaper"
Roommate: "I don't see how you give up 'taste' like that. I wouldn't. And anyways it can't be healthy for you."
Thats what really irks me. Give up taste? In my eyes that a small price to pay for my goals.
He trains with me, and I have been trying to get him on a good diet (for his benefit), but he refuses thinking its a waste of time. I don't know how to explain it to him. Can someone help me explain why its a good idea to keep a steady, solid diet?
-------------- - Its never about how much you can lift, or how many reps you do. Its just about doing it, and doing it right.
- If your hungry all the time, your not eating enough. And anyways, being hungry sucks.
