Does anyone know of a way to reduce cortisol post-workout for someone who's had this surgery? My wife is a few months out from it & is now weight training w/ me. The surgery renders you almost completely intolerant of all simple sugars(nausea, vomiting, diarreah, etc.). Maybe just upping the protein in the shake would help?? She can only tolerate artificial sweeteners & small amounts of sugar-alcohols. Thanks a bunch.
