I know it's sick.. but I do like being sore after a workout to some extent. I seems to me that if I don't feel sore, I didn't do it right or enough.

I've been working with a trainer and I am proud of the fact that when I think I can't do another rep, he tells me to do two more and I find I really do have it in me.

But this last workout has me SORE AS HELL. It was a tough leg workout with some serious lunges yesterday, and I made it through, but my muscles are screaming today every time I move. Went to the mall and walked around for a bit, had to keep moving - the stopping then starting again is a bee-otch.

Had someone comment to me though that if going down the stairs is that rough, I probably overdid it. Made me wonder if that could be true??

The soreness is one of the joys of a good leg work out. You should be ok do some stretching to help lossen the muscles up. Good luck - Mike

I must not fear.
Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it is gone past me I will turn to see fear's path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain

Mike is right. The soreness is the tearing of the muscles which in turn makes them come back stronger.
Stretching is a good thing.
