A couple of years ago during an extremely vigorous soccer tournament I fractured my left hip. It was the worst pain I have ever been through. I was in a wheelchair for a little more then a month moving on to crutches. The only problem was my doctor was a complete idiot and didn't suggest any physical therapy. It took me forever to get back on my feet, and my leg still isn't the same its strength is much less then what I want. Does anybody know any exercises that will help with my strength of my hip and leg, without exercising uneven to compensate for my left hip and leg?

I think people are probably scared to answer due to the seriousness of your inury. (Wouldn't want to be responsible if you re-injured the hip!) Have you thought about trying to get a refferal to a physical therapist to get some pro advice?

Defintely get a new ortho dr to set you up with some physical therapy. After you get through that, you'll be able to move on to a more regular gym workout.
Good luck...
