I have always been skinny. Just a few months ago I was 143 lbs,26 yrs old, and I'm 5 feet 10 inches tall. I have changed my diet and started an excercise program with ft, and now I'm up to 172 lbs.I am noticing results, but my question is , what is a good ideal weight for me? I always thought if I could ever be 165 lbs I would be happy. I'm past that now but I would still like to be a little bigger.I dont want to be huge just a nice AVERAGE size. What do you guys think?

well, I know that my husband at 6'2" should weigh 245..so I am guessing that at 5'10" 180 would be good..depends on how much is muscle and how much is fatty tissue

It is hard to say. You cannot go by those charts. It simply will not work. I think the factors to consider are 1) body fat 2) How you feel 3) How you look 4) General Health There may be others but those immediately come to mind. Remember each person is an individual. One size does not fit all.

I am 5' 11" and I weigh 200lbs. I am comfortable with my weight. It suits me fine.
