To make a short story long, I'm just back into the gym after a shoulder surgery. I put on 18-20 pounds and am working hard to lose it again.

But, there are times I think I could sit down and eat a whole bag of Chips Ahoy cookies! (I'd spend the rest of day bent over a toilet...but I'd eat 'em anyway!)

Does anyone have any suggestions for a halfway healthy junk food? I don't want it everyday, but once or twice a week, maybe.

Thanks in advance!!

I must not fear.
Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it is gone past me I will turn to see fear's path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain

Halfway healthy? Are you talking cookies only? If its only once or twice a week, a couple cookies wont kill you. the trick is not to sit with the whole bag. There are all kinds of flavored rice cakes now and some of the small crunchy ones are prety good. There is an ice cream sandwich called Skinny Cow that are good. Frozen yogurt and frozen fruit bars are good too.

I too have an insatiable sweet tooth! Once I ate an entire black forest cake from Safeway...seriously, the whole thing.....it wasn't pretty. I've discovered that Met-Rx Protein Plus Chocolate Chocolate Chip flavored is the closest thing I have found to a candy bar that actually tastes good....either that or I've gotten so used to the taste so I don't notice. Regardless, they're relatively "healthy" and I get to think I'm eating a candy bar....besides, they're bigger than regular candy bars so you're getting more substance! Unfortunately they're almost $3.00 per bar......
