In order to lose body fat you have to create a caloric deficit. This simply means that you have to expend more calories than you take in. This can be accomplished through diet and exercise. So to lose unwanted bodyfat you need to clean up your diet and begin an exercise program consisting of both cardio and strength training. Don't think that you can lose it by playing basketball 3-4 times per week alone. While that is helpful it won't be enough. Especially as you get older. Diet AND exercise. All the info you need for both is right here and has been discussed at length. Do a search or post a question. Be consistent and patient and you will see results. Good luck. And by the way welcome to ft.
