I was doing some research and read that in eating a meal you shoudn't eat complex carbs because the acid created in digestion cancels out the alkalines needed for absorbing the protein in digestion. Instead eat some simple carbs so acid is not created. Anyone have any feedback on this how many of you never heard of this?

I haven't ever heard of it. (That's not saying much though) However, that pretty much flies in the face of everything that we preach around here. The most sound dietary advice is to avoid simple sugars (particularly the refined and processed type) and stick to complex, fibrous carbs. The only exception to this would be post-workout. Do you have any references? I would like to see the research and I'm sure others would too.

Yeah i did a lot of research onling and a guy at www.bodybuilders.com peter "big cat" van mol hes a PT
I didn't clearly state though you are supposed to eat a big complex carb meal mid morning for energy throughout the day. By eating complex carbs with a protein meal the stomack creates far more acids that cancel out protein absorbtion into blood therefore to the muscle cells. The point is C-carbs not bad just not with high protein meals.
