I wanna take a multi-vitamin but I dont know which one to buy. I was thinking of getting Animal Pak, is it any good? Also, if I do take Animal Pak can I only take it once daily or do I have to take it twice?
Thank you

For normal training, you can take it once per day. And please do a search for Animal Pak - lots of great posts...

In addition to a multi vitamin, I take several other vitamins and minerals:
Calcium / magnesium - From research that I have done, it seems as if the body needs 1000mg of calcium a day. You should take magnesium with the calcium to help it absorb. The ratio should be 2:1 calcium to magnesium. Only take 500mg at a time as the body cannot absorb more then that. The trick with calcium is to get calcium and magnesium citrate. This is the best form to get absorbed into the body. Calcium carbonate and coral calcium seem to be garbage and just get passed through your plumbing. I like to take 500 mg in the am and 500mg in the am as the calcium helps to relax (like warm milk).
I also take 500 to 1000 mg of ester C. The ester C is the easiest on the stomach. People have different tolerances to vitamin c. Some may be able to handle 1000mg at a time while others can only handle 500 at a time. You'll know when you hit your limit if you get the runs.
Co Enzyme Q10 - I take 50mg of CoQ10 a day. they say that anyone over 50 should take at least 60mg per day. CoQ10 is an essential component of the energy-producing machinery of the body's cells. Another of the benefits of coenzyme q10 is that they are widely recommended to repair heart damage and to boost the function of the heart, as well as in preventative use to safeguard against heart attacks and valve damage. The coenzyme's function can be compared to a spark plug in a car engine. Just as the spark plug provides an initial spark to start the engine, CoQ10 also jumpstarts energy production within cells.
One vitamin store I really like is www.hickeychemists.com. They use all pharmaceutical grade products. The only problem with them is they are very expensive.
Another company is puritans pride. i have taken some of their vitamins and they have received good reviews. You can get their vitamins at www.vitamins.com.
