Anybody had experience with this particular brand or anything like it? I found it on sale today for 12.50 (-20% GNC card discount) for 2.2 lbs.
This is the actual product:

Is egg & whey a good mix? Does it really matter?

I use pure egg whit protein powder because whey is a lactose derivitive which makes me sick. They egg protein works great for me. I use this brand: (never bought from this online store though) http://store.yahoo.com/bodyworks-nutrition/egg-protein.html
It tastes great!

i never knew GNC had egg and whey protein. wouldn't it be good, because it has the whey protein for quick absorbing protein for post workout while it has the egg protein for slower acting protein to give you the extended period of time protein absorbtion? if anyone could shed some light on that, it'd be great. thanks

I've been taking the 100% whey protein by GNC for about a month now and it is pretty decent stuff... well not compared with the ON's protein but it'll do for a while... it's hard to get good suplemments here in Mexico
Anyways, I'm also surprised to hear that they still sell GNC egg protein... according to some sales clerk he told me that they stopped selling it when the whey protein came out... but again, this is Mexico
Hope this helps

Egg protein will increase the amino acid profile of any protein. Can help make it a "super protein". I use it daily, have for years. By the way, whey digests in about 20 minutes, and eggwhites in about 30, so there is no real "slowdown" here. Still, pure whey is best immediately post workout, but in any other shake, egg protein is great!

bb1, so would a combo of the two as in this product Ogun mentioned be optimal?
