I've been in the gym since the end of October. I do cardio 45 mins 5 x's a week and strength train 5 days a week also. On Sat I take a 60 cardio class ( step, kickboxing, etc.) and on Sunday I do 60 mins of yoga. I started at 129lbs. and am now up to 137.5 HELP!! I eat low carb and fat and am still putting on pounds instead of taking them off. I notice areas where I have lost fat but I think it's all ending up in my belly area instead of leaving my body altogehter. I love working out but would really like to get down to about 120lbs with 14% body fat. Anyone have any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
We know nothing about you....male female age? Are you lifting heavy ? It is hard to say with just a scale weight as there the factors of muscle gain/bodyfat gain or loss. The chances of the gain being all muscle is slim if you are female...if male..maybe...see why the profile is so important!! Also you stat how you are eating BUT how many calories are you consuming. It does not matter if it is low fat low carb, if you eat more than you burn, you will gain.
