Mix with Milk or water?

I got weider supplement, says to mix with milk. Prob is with a small fridge and 6 ppl drinking tea, coffee and milk/cereal breakfast, it dont last a second :) So was wondering if it is possible to replace the milk with water or will that just not simply work :(

What supplement are you talking about and when are you taking it? We need a bit more info.

I don't want to cut ahead in Ron's line but anything that mixes in milk will mix in water, unless it's an old Irish Folk Tale. The taste? That's the issue (as well as calories) but it can work both ways.

For example, if you use Carb Solutions protein powder, which is plain old yuck, milk makes it so thick that you could use the resulting shake to make a flower pot. (I think some of the MetRx powders are like this, too).

But normally, thickness isn't so much a problem so water will do. But taste is sacrificed using water--and so are calories, if that's your goal--so try not to get used to any one powder mixed with milk if you're going to switch to water. It would be like doing the same with your favorite cereal. :(

bb1 Im taking the Weider mega mass 2000 supplement.

And Ogun thx. Also with the taste of it mixed with milk, I dont think it could get much wosrse being mixed with water, or could it? :)

I find the consistency in a shake's, what word, creaminess, is enhanced by skim milk. That's with my powders though. Like you said, milk may not be available at your house at a given time, so maybe you should find one that is intended to go with water.
