1 rep is 1 pushup. 1 set is the number of reps (pushups) that you do at one time. For example- 3 X 12 would be 3 sets of 12 pushups. Since you are using your body weight no weight would be entered. For exercises with weights (i.e. bench press, bicep curls, etc.) you would enter the weight used for each set. For example- I want to do 3 sets of bench presses. My workout would say something like reps 12, actual (blank), weight (blank). It would list this 3 or 4 times with each time the reps getting smaller. Say 12 for the first set, 10 the next set, 8 the next, 6 the next. On my first set of 12 reps I do 12 reps at 100lbs. Under actual reps I would put 12 and under weight put 100. The next set of 10 reps I do 10 reps at 120 lbs. Under actual reps I would put 10 and under weight I put 120. On my next set of 8 reps I only do 6 reps at 135lbs. Under actual I put 6 and under weight I put 135. And so forth. I hope I answered the question you were asking. My wife got to chattering so I might have got off track. If not repost. Good Luck
