I was going to go with a "500," theme. 500 is a pretty neat number; Indianapolis 500, Fortune 500, S&P 500, and there's a book at Amazon.com that is titled, "500 Low-Carb Recipes: 500 Recipes from Snacks to Dessert, That the Whole Family Will Love."
Then I kind of got writer's block. So I'm using my 500th post to say thank you.
Thank you, mon amis a Freetrainers.com. Here, I've learned more than I ever thought I would. The information here has corrected my mistakes, advanced my health, and above all, allowed me to get to know some very cool friends.
The information here, especially on the boards, has so sparked my interest that I may try to get some formal training in physiology and kinesiology. Freetrainers has allowed me to focus my workouts on progress and not just stress relief. I've learned what to eat, what hype to avoid, and that some women want to lose fat in places that I hadn't theretofore known fat existed. Amazing, really.
I've tried to contribute real life experiences and any help I could offer. I don't know if I am capable of giving the board even half of what it has given me, but I'll push on.
Thanks again. On a parting note, I just found out what the top 500 searched-for words were on the internet according to searchengineguide.com, and health came in a hapless 7th. Beating it out? Ebay, google, Prince Charles, Paris Hilton, Jokes, and Yahoo.

Quite a milestone! Out of 500 I've probably read about 450 or so. Out of those I've understood about 400 (bad grammar, spelling, and such LOL). Good posts all. Anyhow, hope to read many more from you Ogun. BTW I can't believe porn wasn't up in the top 2.

Congrats to you ogun. You are a gereat writer and valuable member.
Now I get to correct the "Ogun"
It's "mes amis" and not "mon amis" in the case of plural!
Just couldn't let that go.

HAHA! Thanks Carivan, I appreciate being corrected; it helps me avoid the same mistakes later, mon ami :D Agamble, I probably follow yours at least as closely as you do mine and as odd as this may sound, you first three responders are pretty much my favorite to read (although Ron takes 1st with regard to nutrition and exercise) and I appreciate being able to read your thoughts.
Thanks again!

You know, when you say 'quarter-ton,' it sounds way heavier than '500lbs!'
Anyway, I agree with Ogun... this board has taught me a lot! It is a valuable resource to me and I'm sure thousands of others who have found it helpful!
Keep them posts full of information coming!
