I've kept track of everything I've eaten for the past week but I'm not sure I've got the % the way they should be.
Avg. Daily Cal. = 1165.6 (Up from 800 per day)
Fat = 24.71 g
Carbs = 143.43g
Protein = 100.56
My diet tracker says I should be getting around 1900 calories per day, obviously I'm not there yet. The FitDay website indicates that I'm burning about 50% of the calories I take in.
I apologize if I haven't given enough information. My questions are, is the balance right or do I need more protein than carbs etc. and will I lose weight? I couldn't lose weight on the 800 calories per day and adding more food is going to be tough.
Also, I am ravenously hungry about every 3 hours, does this mean that my metabolism is speeding up?
Considering that you started at 800 it looks like you are headed in the right direction. It is best to increase gradually. I would suggest staying close to where you are for a week or two. Allow your body to adjust to the increased intake. Most people tweak their diet continually. You will too. Do you supplement with a protein powder? That may help bring your protein up. If you are burning more calories than you are taking in you will lose bodyfat. Are you engaged in an exercise program? That is a must to get the results you are after. Hunger is a sign that your metabolism is up. Sounds good!
