I thought it may be fun, and useful for everyone to post supplements or vitamins that we like and why.

I'll begin with ZMA. I credit this stuff with actually improving my quality of life in that I feel much better than normal with less sleep. I also like insulin spikes after a workout, a very good idea for anyone trying to gain muscle mass.

jsom85 it helps with inflamation of the arteries and what not. Not shure if it would have the same effect in other areas.

hey guys, I would look into CoQ10. They say CoQ10 is one of the best cardio vascular supplements you can get. I have a post here on CoQ10. http://www.freetrainers.com/FT/jsp/Message.jsp?f_ix=13&t_ix=1691

Check it out.

Davidov, I can't agree with you more about the ZMA. I love the stuff!! My sleep has never been so good.

CLA, a women's multi, chromium w/ lunch, a vitamin B complex (when I need it), SAM*E for mood and joint support.

I have some flax seed oil, but have not used it yet. I am unsure of how to take it and when and I read somewhere you can put on salad?

Hmm. . .let see. . . Women's Multi, B-Complex, Chromium Picolinate, Garcinia Cambosia, and Xenadrine EFX. Think that covers it. The Vitamin B is my "happy pill" helps to regulate my mood swings, the Chromium is for glucose regulation, the Garcinia Cambosia is natural herbal energy pill, and well the Xenadrine is for weight loss.

You would probably be more productive, (more bang for the buck so to speak) with dessicated liver. This is not only a powerhouse of B vitamins and a top source of protein that will ehance the amino acid profile of each meal, can make you stronger and more endurance, but also just happens to be a rich source of CO Q10.

Creatine Monohydrate, anti-oxidants, glutamine to name a few. I think I'll give the ZMA a try as it seems to be quite popular and a good night sleep is extremely important to me.

I have been trying to find dessicated liver supplements without much luck, any suggestions.

Cheers

I just want to take this oppurtunity to thank the academy and all of the FT members for their support on my 1000th post. Even though 99% of my posts were useless information and one-liners, I'd like to think of the 1% as the less useless information that helped about 12% of the readers...so in reality, my posts helped about .15% of the FT members which works out to about.......1 member. Oh well, here's to you 1 member who made this possible for me!

Hey J, congrats man. You were the very first person to reply to my first post on here. You definately help a lot of people. For instance, you started the whole insulin spiking hype and helped a lot of people learn about that method. You got my vote for best actor in a supporting role.

I was actually busting on myself for being full of useless info, but thanks for the compliments guys. BB1 is the pioneer for the insulin spike craze though, I just asked the questions.:)
