Whenever I bench I have a bad ache in my shoulder and I went to the doctor and it was said to be as of result of one side of my back being stronger then the other. My left pec also looks to be developing larger then my right, but my rightside I think is stronger. What can I do to solve this problem?

You might try working more with dumbbells instead of a barbell.

I had the same problem for years-- finally diagnosed as a lose joint caused by years of heavy benching. Nothing worked until I strengthened the 'small' muscles of my shoulder joint by extending my arms straight out from my sides, parallel to the ground, and moving my hands circles. Start with small circles and gradually increase until discomfort, then switch direction (clockwise to counterclockwise) and start over. Do for 30+ seconds each direction. I did these three times a day at first and now only do them during warm-up and between sets. I went from chronic shoulder pain to no pain at all over time.
