How much do those ez curl bars weigh? I am talking about the standard one that you can find at most gyms.

Hec, if I'm not mistaken, those bars weight around 25 lbs. Can someone please give us another opinion?

Hope this helps

Mine is a standard and its 15 lbs. Thats the 1" hole, not the larger one.

Hec,
the majority of the e-z bars in the gym are 25 lbs. The small straight bar, a bench bar just smaller is 35 lbs. Take it easy. Peace.

LOL asimmer you are too funny but probably right! You know what, screw what other people think. I am going to weigh myself and the bar today. My wife will be proud that I took this step to help mend my strange way of thinking.

Besides, if anyone snickers, you can turn around and accidentally swing the bar right into their nads, right?

The bar at my gym weighs 17lbs. I was able to sneak and weigh it while nobody was watching.

"Hi, my name is Hecdarec, and I weigh bars at the gym when no one is looking"

Good job, Hec! Now you can get a pink paint marker and do everyone else a favor by writing how much that bar weighs on the end of the bar:)

Didn't you almost like it better when you thought maybe it weighed 25 lbs.....

Yes asimmer I was slightly disappointed when the bar "only" weighed 17 lbs. Hurt my pride a little. Everytime I see someone using that bar I am going to go up to them and ask them how much it weighs. Chances are they will lie and say it weighs 25 lbs. I will then laugh inside and not tell them the truth.

What they will say is " The bar weighs 17 lbs because believe it or not, I saw some fool weighing himself and tehn himself with the bar." Just kidding:laugh::laugh:
