I have a female student worker who has her spring formals coming up and she knows i am a trainer and a gym rat so she was teling me that her dress has spaghetti straps(what the hell?) and she wants to do some light weight training to tone up her shoulders and top of her chest. Can any ladies first tell me what are spaghetti straps and second are there any specific exercises that would work well for her. I have never had any female clients before so telling her what to do and how much I don't feel really comfortable with. She is in great shape, vey tall and lean girl. Any help would be awesome, thanks so much ladies of f/t. peace!

Spaghetti straps are skinny little straps....think sleevless...think strapless...so now think little pieces of material holding up the dress instead of just the chest holding up the dress. She will be showing off her shoulders and likely some cleavage....lol so she wants to look her best....So shoulder and chest workout. :)
Spagetti straps are the "Stings" for shoulder straps you see on most tank tops. As for shoulder excersizes if she has free weights and a stability ball I posted an excersize I like to do Under the Beginers To Weight Training forum in the Equptment for beginners post.
