how do you know if your doing it right?

Hey everyone! i am new to all of this and trying to figure out if im doing all of these excercizes right. the other day i was doing "One-Arm Dumbbell Rows" and i think i pulled a muscle in my back doing it. im fine now but it really hurt for like 2 days. im not so sure i did it right.:laugh: well i guess if amyone reads this and has any type of insight i would really appriciate it if you could let me know whats up. thanks...:love: kim

Welcome to FT, this is a great site. Perhaps your form was off a little bit, it can be quite easy to cheat on 1 arm rows, always remember to keep your back straight, elbows in and head up! Good luck.

No twisting! And don't let your arm 'hang' too far at the beginning of the exercise - often that will result in pain inbetween your soulder blade and your spine.

I think most exercises in the FT programs have visual aides.
