I heard yesterday that running can help with weight loss. Is this true? The only reason that I ask because I spin four days a week for an hour each time. I would think that this is alot better than running. Please let me know!!!:)

Your body wil adapt to anything you do consistently - so spin class may burn hellacalories for you now, but if you always spin 4xweek your body will adjust to that as a regular expenditure and it won't burn as many calories on it. Crosstraining by including a diferent type of cardio workout, like running, is very effective. And running does burn a lot of calories.

Running can be an excelent weight loss, and you can vary your pace/distance, running 30 seconds at 80% and then 30 seconds at 30%. by varying between those you can keep your body from adjusting too fast, but like asimmer says your body will always adjust.
