I was at walmart the other night just looking for new high protein foods to eat and stumbled across this total protein cereal. A 3/4 cup has 13grams of protein and only 2 of the 11 carbs are from sugar. Once you add the milk your upwards of 20grams of protein from just your cereal. Throw in a few eggs and you have a pretty high protein start to your day.
Let me know what you guys think

Great the right track m8. Think of my adaptions and how you could/would enjoy or not...
use skimmed milk..
note milk has quite high sugar content too..
eggs have cholesterol, remove all yolks except up to 2...
a spoon of pure protein powder (check carb value)..
3 strawberries for flavour mashed in or cinnamon..
forget the cereal use plain oats hot or cold
mix and match a variety so you don't get too bored on the potentially monotonous lifeplans we lead.

For $5.79 I get a double sized box of Golean Crunch which tastes MUCH better.

I agree Daniel199, Total Protein has a little bit more protein per serving than GoLean. But the GoLean Crunch box tastes much better, comes in a bigger box, and is less expensive than Total Protein.
I have a hard time with the after-taste of Total Protein (yuck!).

One of the big differences between the Total and GoLean, however, is the protein source. Total gets it from whey protein isolate, while I'm pretty sure GoLean is soy. It's debatable about which is better, but I always got the impression that whey is a safer bet.
