Hello,
I left a post at another message board here, but maybe it should have been this. Reading some posts its seems this may not be for me? Is this strictly a "body building" site, since I'm just trying to 'get in shape', although I do use very light weights during workout, to increase my metobolism. Just started, although many years ago did go reguarly to Golds Gym, but alas, they closed down in my area and so did I, as far as working out, so now I'm trying to get back at it. Must add, I'm in the worst shape I've ever been in, and turned 40 last fall.
So any guidence or suggestions would be appreciated.
Best Regards,
-------------- Robin

Take a look at all of the different forums available. This is not a bodybuilding sight. I would call it a health, wellness, and support sight. We are all here to help each other no matter what our goals.

Welcome from another non bodybuilder!
The bodybuilders on this site are a really useful resource, because lets face it, if anybody knows what works and what doesn't it's these guys.
I'd also strongly urge you to think about increasing the work that you do with weights. Don't worry if you aren't into the muscular physique - it takes years of dedication to look like that anyway, but using weights will help you get in shape quicker and unless you really drop your body fat(and this won't happen by accident) you'll not look muscular, just toned and shapely
