honestly, pick a program off this site. It's a good way! Check out their suggested calorie/protein intake. Sort out the basics of the foods you will eat to achieve near to their reccomendations and allow this food to be simple to get hold of at short notice. Have 8 small daily meals(it switches on metabolism). Dedicate yourself to a 3 month trial as Rome was not built in a day. Do cardio only 1 or 2 a week...
If you can afford a personal trainer to set you up for a even a week to kick start this, go for it. You must get the legs and chest at least with free weights.
There is an excellent post now on the special diet board detailing a 2600 calorie plan and bbfit has a good bodybuilding grocery list. You are in the right place for support, advise, motivation. Personally speaking, without this site, I would still be some or all of these; not working/off sick, relying on state benefit, worrying about being disabled, brain damaged, motiveless etc...
