Hello everyone,

I just changed to 6 small meals a day. Any good meal ideas for this? Simple is good. I do have some cooking ability too though.

Thanks!

hmm, lots of ideas in this forum if you just kinda look through it. I like cottage cheese, fat free pretzels, baked chicken breasts/pork chops, browned extra lean ground beef <96%lean> with some salsa on a low fat tortilla, lots of stuff you can experiment with! Lots for low fat/fat free indulgences out there, but don't forget your fruits and veggies!

Love me as I am . . .
Let me worry about how I look!

My problem is at work. I work in a Kosher facility so I am not allowed to bring food in from the outside. However I usually sneak in fruits and protein bars but I wouldnt mind any other ideas as well, something simple and easy to conceal :laugh:

Cauliflower, brocoli, red pepper, onion, tomato, aparagus.
All raw and mix as you like it, no sauce, no mess, burn more calories digesting it and filling.
Salad sarnie on granary with a bit of chicken, no marge is easy to get used to.
Cup a soup and slice of unbuttered bread.
Peanut butter on bran crispbread.

Thanks for the Ideas! Keep them coming. I can have torillas and more vegies now that I'm not counting carbs! I'm free! I've been eating a lot of sardines (which are easy to conceal Daniel199). A guy at my work mentioned "Eating for life" too. Now I definitely have to check it out. For now, I think I'm going to go through a tortilla phase. It's an easy way to eat.

For eating at work: I got 1 cup tupperware so that I know anything I put in them is usually "serving size". It helps me stay in calorie range at each meal. Also, they're really small and would be easy to hide! For me I eat 4 meals per day each around 300 calories- this is some of the things I eat that are really easy to make.

-Peanut butter on toast with bananna on top.
-1 cup frozen blueberries.
-1 cup angel hair pasta with 2 tbsp no-fat italian dressing.
-4 california rolls (you can buy them in the deli now)
-low fat crackers and tuna (just make sure not to eat too much)
-grapefruit (eat it like an orange)

Sardines?? I dont know if I can conceal the smell haha! However the tupperware idea might work, just throw something in it and stuff it in my laptop bag

So I picked up a copy of Eating for life (and Body for life). The book is amazing. Just what I was looking for.
