Thanks x

Hi,

I would start by running shorter distances and try run it faster everytime....then gradually increase distance. I always find that if I get really motivated and go out and run a long distance without training the shorter distances first I over do it.

Hope that helps!

get a personal trainer explain it fully asthma and all, to him/her what you want to achieve, for 4 sessions. They don't let you stop. It's amazing to realise how high you can get your heart beat with someone pushing you- do interval training and really know your heart can take it and is fit... it's great and beneficial on weight/metabolism/happiness anyway!

You will find to get a good steady pace that feels easy quite quickly this way. Your heart wont work so hard to achieve a good trotting speed.

be careful with your asthma, always have you inhaler handy. Good luck eh!

What do you mean when you say long distance? 800meters, 1600meters, or 3200meters? Usually in track they would have you run a longer distance so your shorter distance times would drop significantly. For example if you are running 800meters...I would have you train at the 1600meters. This will enable you to run that 800meters faster.

neiltilley is right, when you do have a medical condition like that, you should always seek someone with a great deal of expertise when designing a program. Most people here will not be able to give you a program to fit your specific needs, and while working out is very important, being safe is even more important. Consult a professional, and never push yourself to a point that could be dangerous. Good luck.

I dont have access to gym. I live in such a place so i cannot go running outdoors. So i workout indoors cardio. In a 60 minutes routine i have to take rest for 5 mins in total. How can i improve my endurance? I do kick boxing 4 days and weights 2 days a week. I'm 5'7'' and weigh 127 lbs. i get tired soon while working out. Also could someone please suggest me any supplement that can help me workout without getting fatigued. I drink 5 litres water, eat healthy no alcohol. Please can someone advice me on this? Thanks guys
