That sounds like a really good workout for the shoulders bigandrew.
I was hoping someone would include the Arnold press, they are the ultimate shoulder workout. Great post |

arnold presses..............start with lighter than normal dumbells for militarty. Hold them at should level like you would do, to start a military pres, now turn them, to where you thumbs are pointing out, palms toward you. They are gonna be a lil closer in than normal military, but thats ok. Now as you press the weight up turn them as into a regual military. There should be a slight arc in the motion, bring them together( without touching) then bring them back down to the same position that you started...............anything else give me a buzz-------------- .......adversity causes some to break, but others to break records! ......minds are not vessles to be filled, but fires to be enlightened ......Confucious once said ,DO NOT play leap frog with a unicorn |

What happened to the,Bent over lateral raise's,to give the shoulder's equal strength,to help from shoulder injuries happening,it is a muscle that doesnt get worked enuf, and will lead to shoulder instability,if iem wrong please inform me of my errors, Take care brothers and sisters of iron.

You are right that muscle inbalances lead to injuries, but you are wrong in your physiology. The first move in the routine andrew posted (if thats what you were referring to) are bent over rows. Rows work the posterior deltoids. -------------- To have talent is to have limits. I have no talent therefor I have no limits. Steve Prefontaine If you smoke or don’t wear your seatbelt, please don’t tell me the deadlift is dangerous. |

I'v done weighted dips for about a month and i have stretch marks on both shoulders so i'd say they work pretty good.
