Im a medicine student and every day I come home at around 8 in the evening and then I go to the gym and I often come home again very late . What would be the best thing to eat considering tha 2 hours later I go to sleep (usually) since I have an early wake up. I usually ea 2 non fat yoghurts which have 30 g of protein to cover my needs in protein and fairly in carbs
anything else you have in mind?
i would shoot for a fast absorbing whey protein supplement or supplement with glutamine to stop the catabolic effect. then keep it up with what you are doing with the yogurts to keep protein and nutrients in your body as you sleep.
