does anyone know if there is any benefit between the two, dark (ex. legs) and white meat (breast). which may have higher protein, or are they the same? which is just plain healthier than the other? i'm a dark meat person myself...but i am just curious.

As far as I know, a drumstick has about 8g of fat, versus 0 or 1 for a chicken breast.

The dark is generally more fat. I eat dark in winter and breast in summer, but I account for the extra fat, the protein is the same. The only reason I switch back and forth is because I can't grill in the winter here. I find breast dry if it's not grilled.
