Hi all, my name is Eddie. Today I started a 5 day program, focusing on calves and abs as options selected (my calves are tiny but my tighs are riped!) I wanted to know what would be the best cardio to do, and when to do it? I want to get a little bigger, but not fat, I want to be defined before I get buff, (six pack etc). I dont want to lose muscle in the process of losing fat... I can do kick boxing Tuesdays Thursdays, and Saturdays, or ?. And should i goto the gym right before kick boxing or what? Kickboxing with the exception of saturday starts at 6 pm.... I can workout anywhere from 5-7 am, or 2-10 pm. What would be the best time for my 5 day workout? Or should i switch it to less days? Help!!!

Surely 5 to 7am is a great time for weights or cardio as your metabolism is it's most active- so either way you diet goes fat burning or muscle building, go for early starts. If you can do it, it's a positive start to the day..
I like to get in the gym at 4pm due to work- and there's less commuter workers in so more time to be effective for myself. But your kickboxing is excellent training on it's own isn't it!!! Even more reason to do the weights or cardio early, so you keep pumping up your metabolic rate and then surely you need a good 2 day rest period(or one?)- so how you plan the 5 day training in with the kick is important to your schedule- Four may be easier to plan as the social life is important too. Well, that's my take on it, but at the end of the day it has to suit you and your life and be well planned. So hopefully my thoughts help and maybe some more ideas will follow.. BEST OF LUCK!
