After you workout, the next day if you are not sore, does that mean you didn't get a good workout?
Because last night i worked out my arms but today i didnt feel any soreness or anything

My soreness doesn't usually show up for about 36-48 hours.

not really, i'm very rarely sore, but when i go to practice i can tell my strength is zapped.

You usually get sore 36-48 hrs. later. This is DOMS(delayed onset muscle soreness). This acutually in no way reflects if you got a good workout. You may never get this after you have been training a while, if you do it most probably will be from when you change exercises and hit the muscle from a different angle. Some folks get sore all the time, others very rarely.
