I have set pr records in alot of my workout routines except chest. I haven't worked out routinely for years now and just now getting back into it my body is stronger now than before the lay off. Does the body go through a withdrawal period during a layoff?
the body will begin to get rid of the muscle and lose the strength if you lay off. this is because it dosn't need all of that extra baggage and just wants what it needs to survive. so during that lay off part of your muscle and strength was lost.
